We had a fantastic stay at a guesthouse in Reykjavik. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was super clean. We also had access to a shared kitchen, which was a nice bonus. The location was great with a 24-hour grocery store within walking distance. we had a pleasant experience and would recommend this guesthouse for a short stay.

I recently stayed at Guesthouse Summerday for a few nights while exploring Iceland. The location was convenient for tours and airport transportation, and within walking distance of supermarkets that are open 24 hours. The owner was friendly and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The spacious living room provided plenty of reading material, and the kitchen had all the necessary equipment for cooking. The affordable price was a pleasant surprise for an Icelandic hotel.

The rooms at this guesthouse were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. The common area was huge, with a TV and plenty of seating. The shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Plus, the location was great, with a supermarket nearby and the city center just a short drive away.
The check-in process was a bit inconvenient, as guests had to call the owner upon arrival, which could be problematic if you didn't have a working phone or access to wifi. the room doors were noisy and couldn't be closed softly, which could disturb light sleepers.

The host was flexible with my late check-in, which I really appreciated. The shared bathroom was well maintained and there was plenty of room in the common areas to relax. I had a very enjoyable stay at Guesthouse Summerday.

The rates at this hotel were cheap compared to others in the area. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely presented. The hotel had a kitchen and bathrooms that were shared, but in average condition. The owner of the hotel was accommodating and easily reachable. The views of the mountains from the kitchen were beautiful to have breakfast to.
The hotel was located in an odd location outside the center of town, making it necessary to have a car. The building itself was a little dilapidated and under construction during my stay.
